FAQ

Frequently asked questions

On what stage do we play our showcase?

This depends on the weather conditions and build timing. There will be a full Tomorrowland backstage tour at first, followed by your group performance on stage.

When will we receive a briefing?

Your briefing will be sent 1 month prior to the bootcamp, to the email you enlisted with. For urgent questions, mail to academy@tomorrowland.com.

Should I join the beginner or advanced week?

During both weeks, the entire group will be divided into 3 smaller groups to ensure great learning conditions for every student. Beware that during a beginner week, classes will be as simple as possible to help out starting DJs. The advanced week is only for DJ's that already know how beatmatching is done. If you have never worked with Pioneer systems, please enlist for the beginners week.

Every class has professional teachers to help you level up as good as possible. The bootcamps are here to help you network and exchange information about the art we all love!

Can I come by car and are there parking spots available?

Yes! Parking spots are available during the bootcamp on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (untill the ending of The Gathering). It is prohibited to keep your car parked on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrowland Academy does not provide parking spots during the festival.

I have a spot on the camping site of Tomorrowland. When do I leave to set up my stuff?

As Dreamville opens on Thursday, you will be put in a group with others to leave the Bootcamp for 2 hours. Your showcase will not be in danger.

I have never produced before. Is that a problem?

No problem. During every bootcamp, there will be a group for unexperienced producers. Both weeks are mainly focused on leveling up your DJ-skills and industry knowledge.

Can I book my hotel and transportation with the help of Tomorrowland Academy or Tomorrowland?

You will have to arrange your own transportation to the bootcamp and back to your hotel. You will also have to arrange your own place to stay.

If you buy the Full Madness Pass for Tomorrowland, please check out the official website for more details on this pass.

What do I bring to the bootcamps?

Bring your own laptop, USB-stick, usb-hub and headphones if you are in possession of these.
